It is important that we try and buy recycled products and packaging where possible as this completes the recycling loop and increases demand for recycled material.

Many supermarkets and other companies are now supplying more and more recycled products which include everything from toilet roll to jewellery.

recycling symbols on packaging

Look out for this symbol on packaging as this will show you the percentage of recycled material contained in the product.
Companies can use this symbol on a voluntary basis and so not all recycled material will display this logo.
